NISYRIO is pleased to announce its first public activity to clean the beaches of Loutra in Mandraki and Paloi villages in collaboration with the Parents Association of the schools and the Basketball team of the island. We will get together to collect the washed up plastic on the two beaches and process it on the spot with the Precious Plastic machines available on the island. The aim is practically to clean the two beaches from the plastic waste and also the participants to get familiar with the procedures, the types of the plastic and come up with creative ideas of upcycling the plastic waste. The activity will conclude to four workshops with groups of ten participants.
